Welcome to the Leiden Lions website!
Our hockey club currently has about 170 members, six senior teams,
four junior teams and a hockey school. It is a fantastic sport and we
would like to give everyone the opportunity to become acquainted with
the coolest game on earth!
The Leiden Lions' main goal is to have fun; this applies equally to
the youth teams. You can play hockey by us in the Dutch competition, or be an trainingmember only.
Because we are located in the middle of the Randstad we have many foreign members from all over the world, for information or joining one of our teams please send us an email to leidenlions@gmail.com
Pillars of youth policy:
- equal ice time for all team members during competitions
- serious training to develop the players and to improve the team
The above is also a guideline for our high number of senior
recreational teams; three Leiden teams play in the third division and one team in the second division.
We are busy with updating the complete website for the english speaking players and parents, the most important pages are at this moment bilungual.
