The re-opening of the Ice rink and start of the Ice Hockey season had to be celebrated!
On the 1st of October, a series of events were on the agenda.
The afternoon started with the “gear exchange market”, where the Lions could take advantage of second hand equipment, for a bargain or even for free.
Then the Youth Management presented the plans for the starting season, outlining training programs, team composition and expectation but also describing future developments.
Also the new Head Coach, Marco Kronenburg was introduced, the Leiden Lions are extremely pleased and excited to be training with the former Netherlands Women National Team Coach !
And finally came the time to jump on the ice and get that rust off the blades!
